Description: Introducing an editorial service for those wishing to write their own memoir or other biography, but also including magazine articles, newspaper features, business reports, student dissertations, etc.
Services include copy editing, some ghostwriting and proofreading manuscripts to standards required by publishers and literary agents. Even if you are self-publishing your book, it will need to be edited. Research also undertaken to confirm names, dates and facts as accurately as possible.
Proofreading service includes correcting grammar, spelling and punctuation; checking for repetition, ambiguity, tautology, continuity, POV (point of view) etc.
Editing/ghostwriting/re-writing services are inclusive of proofreading. Work undertaken onscreen or hard copy.
A copy typing and word processing service is also available, exclusive of editing but proofread upon completion.
Confidentiality is guaranteed; all work is treated with care and respect and copyright remains with the author upon completion and full payment for the work.
My fees are modest and available on request. All work is individual, presenting its own challenges but as a general rule, when I have seen a representative sample of work, I am able to offer a firm quotation.
